You are passionate about safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable children and young people, and are committed to continuous improvement in Children’s Social Care. What the job involves As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering effective Children’s Social Care services. You will manage a complex and varied caseload, make critical decisions, and work within legislative frameworks while maintaining professional standards. Your duties will involve direct work with children and families, attending multi-disciplinary forums, and participating in the development of the team and service. You will also be responsible for data entry and compliance with data protection regulations. Skills Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in statutory Children’s Social Care Ability to manage complex caseloads Strong communication skills in high-risk situations In-depth knowledge of relevant social work theories and legislation Competence in critical reflection and evidence-based decision-making Proficiency in using information technology and databases Commitment to professional development and ethical standards Ability to work collaboratively within multi-agency settings
