990GRE Temporary Work Coordinator Hinkley Point C, Somerset Long term, Full time £400 PAYE to £550 UMBRELLA per day Position Title Temporary Work Coordinator Department Construction Reports to Construction Lead Responsible for Preparation and setting out of temporary works on construction sites in accordance with the BS 5975 Deputy during his/her absence Construction Lead Main Responsibilities Overall responsibility and key contact for all temporary works issues on the project including temporary works teams, temporary and permanent works designers, other members of the project team. Responsible for the implementation of the Management of Temporary Works procedure and BS 5975. Establish the system for the correct execution and recording of the Temporary Works Request System and the Temporary Works Inspection Procedure. Ensure that a design brief is prepared properly and issued to the temporary works designer. Duty of ensuring that all the relevant procedures, inspections and checks are carried out. Responsible for coordinating all Temporary Works between site teams and designers Participate in weekly/pre-start look ahead meetings to identify and resolve temporary works Shall ensure that a "zero harm" approach is taken in relation to all his acts and omissions in relation to the services and the project. Acknowledges that due to the nature of the project, nuclear safety and security are of paramount importance. Agrees to comply with any rule, instruction or requirement of the Company in relation to the services which the company determines, in his sole and absolute discretion, is necessary in order for the company to comply with his obligations under the nuclear site license. Housekeeping of the work areas; collection, segregation and disposal of wastes as required; removal of unused materials and clear the work floors to eliminate/reduce slipping or tripping risks in your work area. Ensure that temporary works permits are approved and communicated to other members of the Enka site team. General Conditions Minimum 5 years of experience in large scale industrial projects as a TWC Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) CITB Temporary Works Coordinator certificate Can achieve Security Clearance (BPSS) Hold or Can achieve CCNSG Safety Passport Strong understanding of BS 5975: 2019 Familiarity with CDM Regulations 2015.
