We are looking for a highly organised, skilled, caring and compassionate individual to provide specialist support for our Counselling and Support Service Team. The role has two main aspects: providing administrative support to the team of Counsellors and Volunteer Counsellors, supported by a dedicated team of administration volunteers, and providing coordination and leadership to our team of Time to Be Volunteers.
You will be working as part of a dedicated, hard-working and responsive team to deliver much-needed support to patients, relatives, and carers, including bereaved loved ones. We are always looking at innovative ways to provide safe and effective support for the individuals under our care. Working collaboratively across the Hospice and out in the community, you will be a vital aspect of this.
This is an exciting new role where you will have both the opportunity and be empowered to make a huge difference to people living with life-limiting illness in our community.
Benefits include free parking and a generous holiday allowance with the ability to buy and sell additional holiday. You can view more information about our range of benefits here.
