You’ll assist in the delivery of a programme of activities for both school and family visitors. You will deliver outdoor workshops such as Map Reading and River Studies as well as seasonal events such as Easter, Summer of Play and Christmas. By doing so, you’ll help to create an enjoyable experience for everyone that visits and help them understand more about our place.
Salary: £24,862.50 per annum/ £12.75 an hour
Duration: This is a fixed term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 4 months.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Weekend working required.

This former cotton mill was built in 1784 and is one of Britain’s greatest industrial heritage sites. The busy estate hosts many schools’ programmes and events, which help bring Quarry Bank’s fascinating story to life. What you'll be doing
Working with the team you'll deliver events and activities that bring our place to life for our visitors all year round. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. You’ll help link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.
You will be delivering outdoor learning sessions to school groups so an enthusiasm for nature and the outdoors is key.
Working directly with volunteers and staff across departments, you will work collaboratively as part of a large and varied property team.
