The school is looking to appoint a long term SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team and support a child in KS1. The child has a range of complex needs and challenging behaviour. This role starts after Easter and is a full-time role until the end of the current academic school year. Required Skills and Experience for this SEND Teaching Assistant role: Teaching Assistant Level 3 Qualification Ability to liaise with the class teacher, SENDCO, and other agencies to meet the needs of the pupils. Build effective relationships with pupils and staff. Experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH. Experience within UK primary schools. Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children.
