Tuesday 9am – 2pm
Thursday 9am – 2pm
Friday 9am – 2pm

JOB PURPOSE
To support the public with Employability Support and Digital Access. To assist in running our
groups for older adults. General admin/office duties.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
To run our Employability and Digital Access Service. Assisting the public to create CV’s, carry out job searches, update Universal Credit journal, benefit checks, accessing emails and assistance with any digital concerns or struggles.
General office duties such as answering the telephone, replying to emails, filing and attending training sessions.
Social media posts on a daily basis, creating posters to advertise our services.
Overseeing our Adult Groups such as Silver Social Hub and Silver Crafters.
Research and keep up-to-date with funding opportunities.
To develop a range of activities based on the needs of adults in the community. developing plans, advertising, and promoting the projects to other agencies.
To cover any sickness, annual leave where appropriate.
To undertake additional or other duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
Full training will be provided prior to start date, but a background working with the publicwould be beneficial.
General IT skills are essential.
PVG must be cleared before starting in this position.
