As Data Analyst, you will play a key role in the successful implementation of our new people system. With a strong ability to run detailed reports and you will ensure that all people data is accurately analysed and presented, ready for inputting into the new system. Your knowledge and experience with people data will be crucial in this role as you will be identifying trends, patterns, and insights that will support strategic decision-making. By collaborating closely with the project teams, you will help streamline processes and ensure data integrity, ultimately contributing to the overall successful implementation and ongoing support of our new people system. Job Content: Run and manage regular and reports to provide insights into people data. Support the implementation of the new people system by analysing and inputting data. Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing data cleaning and validation. Collaborate with People and IT teams to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights. Utilise Excel to create complex data models, pivot tables, and visualisations. Identify trends and patterns in people data to support strategic initiatives. Undertake complex analysis of colleague data producing period reports. Undertake specific analysis and reporting including Gender, Ethnicity, Disability on a quarterly/annual basis as required. Manage the People data inbox: responding to queries in a timely manner and prioritise requests. Support the wider HR team with information and advice on colleague related queries. Provide data and trend analysis on colleague activity and undertake ad hoc benchmarking for colleague related matters. Undertake data gathering and validation from various sources and engaging with Payroll to ensure alignment between HR and payroll data. Manage the secure distribution of files. The candidates must have: Good understanding of GDPR and data protection. Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably with a focus on people data. Relevant academic/ professional qualification Previous involvement in the implementation of People / HR systems. Experience of using HR systems, extracting and analysing people and payroll data. Highly experienced excel user with skills including formulas, pivot tables, power pivots, VLOOKUP etc. Ability to interpret data and present in report form to different audiences. Have exceptional attention to detail. Be highly analytical. Be confident in communicating with different audiences/stakeholders.
