Position: Food Safety Officer | Duration: 4 Months (Inside IR35) | Location: Hybrid (Oban)
Harvey Nash's Client is recruiting for a Food Safety Officer on a 4 month contract.
Main Responsibilities
Will be expected to deliver the inspection of premises approved under Regulation, in particular this is in relation to Fishery and Dairy Premises.
Key Skills/Qualifications
1. BSC (Hons) Environmental Health and REHIS Diploma in Environmental Health/EHORB; or Higher Certificate in Food Premises Inspection; or Higher Certificate in Food Standards and in Food Control.
2. HACCP level 4 Official Control Verification certificate.
3. Authorised food officer or environmental health officer with minimum of 3 years' experience in food safety enforcement and in the manufacturing and official control sector.
4. Fishery/Dairy Products experience preferred.
This role falls inside of IR35 and is hybrid working with the expectation to be in the Oban office with some flexibility of administrative time off-site.
