The role will involve understanding system level requirements, test methods and the operation of our products in order to ensure they are tested and verified. We’re looking for a talented person with the skills to automate our testing methods. The successful candidate will need to: Develop and maintain our custom test and diagnosis tools. Transform and automate our regression testing methods to reduce testing time. Manage and maintain our Robot Framework automated test suite. Have some understanding of the technical areas across Electronics, Embedded Software, and Electrical in order to be able to collaborate with our engineering teams. Run functional and regression tests that prove the functionality of our Smart Charger product test suite (hardware, App and cloud software). Work with software developers to plan and implement tests to address new products and functionality. Work with software developers to investigate issues arising from System testing. Assist with development and maintenance of EOL testing tools within Indra. Develop and conduct, product and system level testing of our EV chargers and Software Apps. Qualifications 2 years in software testing, 2 years of automation experience. Essential Skills Experience in or working closely with the following technical areas: Can create and maintain Test Plans from product and regulatory requirements. Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Robot Framework, Appium, Selenium. Knowledge and experience of test methodologies and their place within the test lifecycle. Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Create standalone Python scripts and full multi-function applications. Desirable Skills Understanding of EV charging systems and related standards. Process skills related to coordinating and documenting technical documents. Product regulatory compliance standards. Embedded and Cloud Software testing. Demonstrable understanding of technology product development. Knowledge of operating within an ISO 9001 quality system.
