IO Associates have partnered with a Global Food Manufacturing company who are looking for a Head of Procurement Excellence to join their team in Chiswick Park (Hybrid).

They work as a matrix organisation, with Global Categories demonstrating the global size and Regional Procurement ensuring a strong connection and proximity with our 6 regions.
You will be reporting directly to the UKI Procurement Lead, where you will drive (in alignment with the Global Packaging Procurement team) the Packaging Category (£70 Million Spend).
Deliverables
1. Policy and Compliance: Ensure procurement activities align with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
2. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal partners to understand their procurement needs and expectations in the delivery of change projects.
3. Performance Management: Monitor and report on procurement performance and implement improvements as necessary.
4. Risk Management: Identify and manage procurement risks to protect the organisation's interests through supplier financial evaluation tools.
5. End-to-End Source to Pay (S2P) Process: Lead all aspects of the S2P process, including defining the strategy, implementing the process, ensuring compliance, and continuously improving the process.
6. Sourcing Guideline Ownership: Own the sourcing guidelines of the organisation, developing, implementing, and maintaining them to ensure fairness, transparency, and value for money.
7. Operational Procurement: Manage all operational procurement processes, including supplier relationships, contract management, and invoice processing.
8. Productivity Governance: Manage productivity governance by setting efficiency goals, supervising performance against these goals, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
9. Custodian of Procurement Tools and Systems: Oversee procurement-related tools and systems, ensuring effective use, data integrity, security, and compliance with data protection regulations.
10. Sustainability: Act as a single point of contact for information regarding sustainable procurement and provide advice and guidance on sustainable procurement processes.
11. Transformation: Lead regional procurement transformation projects.
Key Skills
1. Experience in Procurement (with shown success in running a Category at regional or global level, in a worldwide organisation).
2. Ability to deal with ambiguity within a complex and multicultural environment.
3. Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, with a collaborative mindset.
4. Natural leadership & influence skills.
5. Strong analytical skills.
6. Ability to be hands-on operationally as well as building a long-term strategic vision.
7. Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
8. Available to work in Chiswick 3 days a week (preferable) and travel on request to factories & suppliers.
Salary: £90,000pa + Bonus (up to 15%) + Car Allowance (£7,000).
