CUSTOMER SERVICE CHAMPION / FRONT OF HOUSE JOB ROLE
CORE PURPOSE
* To enable a flow of the day so that clinicians can best look after patients
* To deliver great service - especially those first and last impressions
* To contribute to the commercial and reputational success of the business
Some of the types of tasks to deliver this will include:
* Communication with patients - telephone, email, face to face
* Booking and managing the diary efficiently
* Administration
* Welcoming and helping patients
* Supporting the clinical team so that they can do their work to the best of their ability
* Using optical equipment to take measurements
* Communication with owners and the team
The nature of the work:
* We are a well established opticians based in Knowle
* The clinical and retail world constantly evolves and so the way we do things may well evolve too, which means we are looking for someone who can be adaptable and show initiative

* You do not have to have experience in the industry to apply
* Training and support will be given
About you
You must have a desire to deliver great service, be confident using a computer, and work positively within a team. We aren't worried if you don't have experience in optical (though of course it's a bonus), but we are after a willingness to learn, and who fits in with our values above!
If people describe you as “sunshine” or someone that likes to get things done well, then this would be a great position for you!
We are looking for a 4-5 day role, on a fixed 2 week rota. You will need to work alternate Saturdays.
Renumeration
* Up to £12.50/hour depending on the experience and skills that you bring
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 38 per week
Additional pay:
* Bonus scheme
