Job overview
Brighton and Hove Neurodevelopmental Pathway (CAMHS) is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Band 7 practitioner to take on a senior role within our team.
Are you a registered nurse and NMP with leadership skills and a passion for working with young people and families? Or you might be an experienced neurodevelopmental nurse working with children and young people with ADHD, looking to further develop your skills and train as an NMP?
We have a full-time position available in our team at B7 in a developmental role. Neurodevelopmental Pathway in CAMHS is crucial in providing both assessment and targeted, evidenced-based mental health interventions for children and young people in Brighton and Hove as well as providing pathways for neurodevelopmental diagnoses.
Advert
Your role will be to undertake and oversee specialist neurodevelopmental assessments and nursing interventions, supporting the neurodevelopmental team, initiating medication and providing ongoing monitoring predominantly within the ADHD pathway.
In addition to your specialist NMP role, you will support the work of the wider team by contributing to duty cover and offering initial assessments. As a senior clinician, you will support the development of junior staff and offer clinical supervision.
Working for our organisation
Sussex Partnership Neurodevelopmental (CAMHS) values the contributions that nursing colleagues bring and has a well-established nursing structure and strategy. The Trust is supportive of clinicians' professional development and provides access to quality training opportunities.
The service prioritises staff wellbeing and encourages our colleagues to maintain a healthy and positive work-life balance. Leadership is strong and supportive, and our ethos is to encourage people to work creatively and be innovative in their thinking to support new and different ways of working.
