About the role
Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. The desired SEND Tutor will be working 1:1 with students with social emotional and mental health needs and emotional based school refusal. The Tutor role is long term to provide consistency for students and work towards breaking down barriers to learning. Sessions can be one - five hours per day (during or after school hours) depending on the student's needs.
Requirements
To be considered for the role of SEND Tutor you will:
1. Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in Primary or Secondary
2. Experience of working with students with EHCPs
3. An ability to plan and deliver Maths and English sessions
4. A passion for making a difference to the lives of young people.
