What are we looking for?
We are seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to assist in managing and coordinating technical projects from initiation to completion. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and customer communication. The ideal candidate will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives while coordinating between technical teams, stakeholders, and customers.
Job Role:
* Assist in planning, executing, and tracking technical projects, ensuring milestones are met and deliverables are on schedule.
* Maintain project documentation, including requirements, timelines, risk logs, change requests and status reports.
* Identify project risks and issues, facilitate solutions, and escalate when necessary.
* Collaborate with team leads to allocate resources effectively and track team workload.
* Conduct technical testing of deliverables prior to providing them to the customer.
* Ensure change requests are documented, reviewed, and approved before implementation.
* Maintain communication with customers throughout the project life cycle to ensure milestones are met and the customer is aware of the current progress.
* Pro-actively plan, organise and arrange all communication within the project.
Essential Skills
* 2+ years of experience in a technical project coordination or related role.
* Understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC), cloud technologies, and agile methodologies.
* Experience with project management tools like Jira, Asana, or Trello.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to coordinate with technical and non-technical teams.
* Ability to identify roadblocks and proactively address challenges.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable Skills
* Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or CAPM)
* Hands-on experience in software development.
* Experience working with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or cloud platforms.
Remuneration:
* Office Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
* Holiday Entitlement: 25 days + Bank Holidays
* Salary: £30,000 - £35,000/year Dependant on Experience
