Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will oversee a lean team and drive food safety. Description Be the Technical spearhead for the department, overseeing quality, food safety and compliance. Experience in maintaining SALSA accreditation & experience implementing BRC Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including product specifications, allergen controls, and labeling. Management experience Experience working in a lean environment Experience with internal/ external auditing Profile Demonstrated experience in a technical or quality management role within the food manufacturing industry. Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing a team. In-depth knowledge of HACCP, SALSA/BRC standards, and UK/EU food safety regulations. Hands-on experience in leading BRC accreditation. A solid understanding of fermentation and microbial processes is highly advantageous. Passion for NPD and food innovation. Highly detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
