Kiera is a lovely lively chatty 10-year-old. She attends Thomas Bewick School and enjoys her time in school. Kiera has a great sense of humour and loves to act the clown to make people laugh.
Kiera lives with her mum and brother and spends time with her grandparents.
Kiera has a diagnosis of Autism with learning difficulties. She has ADHD and has Epilepsy- her epilepsy is well managed with medication and under control. Kiera also has a gene deficiency and takes medication for her diagnosis which is managed by her mum. Kiera does suffer with Separation Anxiety, and this is managed well by the family. Kiera loves to play with food and pretend to make meals and she loves celery at the minute.
She enjoys music especially the electric guitar and enjoys singing into her microphone. She often changes her accent which keeps everyone amused. Kiera enjoys time on her iPad and playing with her Barbie dolls which she has a lot of. Kiera attends Stage school on a Saturday which she enjoys and loves swimming, which we would like any successful PA to be able to engage in with Kiera.
Kiera would like to visit sensory provision centres like The Tim Lamb Centre with her Personal Assistant as well as the Cinema and Park.
As Kiera’s PA we are looking for someone with a sense of humour and lots of patience. Kiera can run of if not always supervised, so we are looking for someone with experience of working with children with Autism. We are looking for someone calm and with a laid-back approach to keep Kiera regulated. Kiera has a buggy that she uses for outings, and we do require a female personal assistant as Kiera responds better to females and does have personal hygiene needs.
Full clean UK driving licence is essential for this role.
