Due to recent growth, 2SFG Nottingham is seeking to expand the Engineering team with a capable and experienced Planned Maintenance Engineer

This role sites within our Meals Solutions division, which consists of five manufacturing sites producing over 500 different products to feed our nation, from ready meals to soups, sauces, and iced fingers.
This Engineer position is at our Pizza Factory in Nottingham which, as the name suggests, produces premium quality pizzas for major retailers. We produce over 1 million pizzas per week and the site consists of two separate factories, a bakery and a toppings site which is where this role is based.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive, team-oriented engineer to join our maintenance team and provide a high level of engineering support to the wider business.
Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include:
* Undertaking planned maintenance work and proactively looking for new, improved ways of working and proposing corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
* Respond to breakdowns and other faults across a busy, fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
* Supporting other team members and working closely with teams in production to minimise downtime and improve engineering reliability.
* Promoting a safety-first culture, ensuring all work is carried out in line with H&S guidelines.
About You:
* An apprentice trained engineer with experience of working in planned/reactive maintenance roles.
* Food or FMCG experience would be ideal, but we’re keen to hear from engineers from all backgrounds who have a proactive approach and a real passion for engineering.
* Experience of maintaining and repairing food production equipment, such as conveyors, wrappers, mixers, and ovens, would be an advantage.
* Strong interpersonal skills: a team player who is prepared to support fellow engineers and can also develop good relationships with colleagues in departments across the business.
* Able to prioritise a busy workload and work well under pressure.
* Health & Safety focused.
