In this role, you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality, person-centred support in line with the company's specialist care model, which emphasises teamwork, honesty, respect, dignity, innovation, values and empowerment.
The Role:
As a Service Lead, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the service;
1. Ensure the Safeguarding Strategy is embedded in service delivery.
2. Lead and motivate the team to deliver best practices in support services.
3. Conduct safeguarding investigations and ensure comprehensive needs assessments are in place.
4. Oversee medication management systems and staff competency assessments.
5. Facilitate person-centred reviews and ensure staff are equipped with specialist skills.
6. Monitor quality improvement systems and conduct regular audits.
7. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and contractual obligations.
8. Lead culture change and innovation projects within the team.
9. Manage and coordinate direct reports to achieve KPIs and financial performance targets.
10. Participate in an 'on call' rota as part of the management team.
The Candidate:
To be successful as a Service Lead, you should meet the following criteria:

13. Good interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
14. Effective time management and organisational skills.
15. Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
16. Experience working with vulnerable people, including adults with learning disabilities and older adults.
17. NVQ level 4/5 in care and management or willingness to undertake necessary training.
18. Full driving licence and use of a vehicle.
