With a portfolio spanning residential, commercial, and education sectors, they are poised for growth and are seeking a skilled Chartered Structural Engineer to join their dedicated team. Role Overview: As a Chartered Structural Engineer with my client, you'll provide technical design support across various projects. This role offers ongoing work opportunities and excellent avenues for professional development. Key Responsibilities: Work on residential, commercial, and education projects, demonstrating expertise in design completion for these sectors. Produce accurate reports and designs, and lead and guide junior engineers and technicians to meet client requirements. Check designs and drawings of other engineers and technicians within the Structural Engineering team. Develop and mentor junior staff members. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of 8 years' experience with UK-based design consultancies. Background in similar projects to align with the company's workload. Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Chartered Status with the IStructE or ICE. Experience with Steel, Concrete, Masonry, and Timber materials. Proficiency in British Standards, Eurocodes, and relevant design guidance. Strong analytical, communication, and technical design skills. Excellent written and spoken English communication skills. Software Proficiency: AutoCAD Civils 3D WinDes / MicroDrainage Microsoft Office suite Schedule: Monday to Friday Requirements: Ability to commute or plan to relocate to Sevenoaks before starting work. Bachelor's degree preferred. Valid work authorization in the UK.
