Location: Bromley
Contract Type: Locum ongoing contract
Pay Rate: £28.52 per hour (assignment rate)
Main Duties of the Occupational Therapist:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with neurological conditions (e.g., stroke, brain injury, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease).
* Evaluate physical, cognitive, psychological, and social needs to develop a holistic understanding of each patient's challenges.
* Develop individualized treatment plans, setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
* Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
* Recent UK experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
* Recent NHS experience.
* Registered with the HCPC.
* Must have experience of working with adults with acquired neurological diagnosis, specifically stroke.
* Experience of working within a multidisciplinary team.
* Candidate will be required to carry out home visits across the borough of Bromley. Ideally, a car driver; however, the job could be completed using public transport if needed.
