We are now seeking the above role to join our maintenance team at our Erith plant, which is a major crusher & refiner of rapeseed in the UK, servicing the food, feed and bio fuel sectors.
Your Responsibilities
1. Designing and implementing work schedules for the electrical team, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive breakdowns and new installations.
2. Direct supervision of the day work, shift technicians and contractors.
3. Review work order progress according to time and required standards.
4. Contribute to electrical design planning & updates of site electrical drawings.
5. Provide progress reports to the work order planning and scheduling team.
6. Coordination with production and other departments.
7. Supporting and overseeing the site's electrical & instrumentation compliance.
8. Coaching of Electrical Apprentices.
9. Identifying and ensuring the site has adequate spares for electrical infrastructure.
10. Deputise for the Electrical and Instrumentation Superintendent, specifically relating to;
* HV operation/isolation
* Permit writing
* Work order scheduling and management
Your Profile
1. City & Guilds/NC/HNC in Electrical Engineering.
2. Good understanding of Microsoft Office suite.
3. Certified for HV operation and isolation.
4. Minimum 3 years’ experience in an industrial maintenance environment.
5. Must be physically and mentally fit to carry out all required expected duties associated with the job: i.e. use of stairs, working at height, confined space entry, and manual handling requirements.
