Residential Service Manager
Llanidloes, Wales 37.5 hours per week

I am looking for a proven Service Manager for a 29 bedded service specialising in dementia care. The aim of the service is to create a homely atmosphere offering the highest possible standards of care and support. Working with the local community, GP’s and professionals to deliver a care offer that truly enables residents to continue to lead as full a life as possible, the high-quality support provided places the individual at the centre of all the home does.
In this great role you will:
• Use your leadership, role modelling and inspirational skills to motivate the team to deliver excellent quality of care
• Be the person in charge responsible for the day-to-day running of the Service
• Manage the effective use of resources, including the financial performance of the Service, and maintain high levels of occupancy
• Provide improvement, independence and choice for Service Users
• Comply with all regulatory and legislative requirements at all times and in particular the CWI for the Registration of the service
For this role you must have:
• NVQ/QCF Level 5
• Held registration with CIW
• Experience in mental health
• Experience as a Deputy or Manager of a similar service and size
