Support Worker Llandelhearn 16 hours Welsh speaking is essential in this role What you will be doing You will be providing support to adults in our new clwb in Llandelhearn with meaningful activities to promote independence, skills and above all to have fun Enabling the people we support to be make choices which helps develop their confidence and skills. Enable the people we support to be involved in Company related activities such as being involved in training, recruitment of new staff and going to meetings. How will you do this Understand principles of respect and dignity. Have patience and empathy. Be able to support a person with their intimate personal care with dignity and respect. Have good communication skills which can be adapted to suit the situation. Be able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people within and outside of Cartrefi Cymru Have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning. Have a basic ability to use a computer to keep simple records and find information. Have good observational skills. Have the ability to work as part of a team Have the ability to work to consistent standards. Have the ability to make decisions and follow them through. Be creative. Be organised. Be able to manage and record finances.The ability to drive and the use of your own vehicle is essential.
