Ink Production Technician

Our client is now looking for an Ink Production Technician to join them on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week, Monday – Thursday 6am – 4pm.

The Role
As an Ink Production Technician, you will support the production of high-quality ink formulations for packaging applications.
Specifically, you will ensure all inks and consumables are prepared in line with production schedules, operating ink room machinery and maintaining the smooth running of the production process.
Alongside this, you’ll also carry out accurate measurements and mixing of raw materials, conduct quality control checks, and keep precise records of stock and batches.
Additionally, you will:
- Ensure the safe operation of ink production equipment
- Verify inks before use to meet product specifications
- Check and verify returned inks prior to restocking
- Inspect incoming ink deliveries for quality and accuracy
- Support the Artwork & Reprographic Organiser with new job sign-offs
About You
To be considered as an Ink Production Technician, you will need:
- Experience of working with inks
- Experience of working in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with production machinery and/or laboratory equipment
- Good numeracy and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A calm, methodical approach and ability to work well in a team
- GCSE Mathematics or equivalent
