Graduate Teaching Assistant (Post 16)
Location: Newcastle
Salary: £75 - £100 per day
Contract: Full Time/Part Time
Start: ASAP/September 2024
GSL Education is seeking Graduate Teaching Assistant (Post 16) to support secondary schools in Newcastle .
Job Summary:
* Providing guidance and support to students, helping them with their academic and personal development.
* Tracking and reporting on student progress, identifying those who may need additional support or intervention.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist teachers in delivering high-quality lessons to Post 16 students.
* Provide one-on-one or small group support to students.
* Help with lesson planning and preparation.
* Support students with their academic progress and well-being.
* Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
* A recent graduate with a strong academic background.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
* Previous experience working with young people is desirable but not essential.
