Job Overview: Atlantis Medical is seeking a Band 6 Physiotherapist to join the inpatient team at Ashford & St. Peter's Hospital. This role involves working with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality physiotherapy care to patients within an inpatient setting, supporting their rehabilitation and recovery. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and implement treatment plans for patients with a range of medical conditions in an inpatient setting. Work collaboratively with nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Develop and implement rehabilitation programs tailored to patient needs, promoting mobility and independence. Conduct regular patient progress reviews and adapt treatment plans accordingly. Provide education and advice to patients, families, and carers regarding rehabilitation and self-management techniques. Maintain accurate patient records in line with NHS standards and guidelines. Participate in discharge planning to facilitate smooth transitions for patients leaving the hospital. Requirements: HCPC registration as a Physiotherapist. Previous NHS experience in an inpatient setting is essential. Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills. Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in rehabilitation, post-operative care, or general medical wards is desirable.
