Job summary The Department of Clinical Radiology at the PRUH is seeking to expand their team of consultants by appointing new proactive, compassionate and committed colleagues to share in the challenge of providing patient centred acute and specialist care. The department offers a broad range of sub-specialist opportunities such as the ongoing development within interventional radiology as well as specialist areas within cardiothoracic, gastrointestinal and acute radiology. The department is looking for a substantive Consultant Radiologist with an interest in Colorectal Radiology. The post is for 10 PAs per week, which includes at least 1.5 PAs for SPA time. You must be fully registered with the GMC and hold Licence to Practice and be on the Specialist Register, or within six months of attaining your CCT or equivalent at interview stage. On-call commitment will be approximately 1:15, and CT scans are outsourced to a tele-radiology company over night on weekdays and throughout the weekend. Weekend on calls involves 3 hours onsite DCC each day to predominantly cover acute ultrasound work.
