Please note this is a site based role Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and hybrid working is not available. What Does The Role Entail? To support the finance department and be responsible for the accurate and timely production of financial reports and analysis within the business. To promote the values of the business and grow the finance teams contribution to overall business performance and continuous improvement. What Will My Key Responsibilities Be? Assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts & annual statutory accounts Analytical review of profit and loss account Balance sheet reconciliations Preparation of KPI & weekly management reports Preparation and submission of VAT, Intrastat, EC sales list, statutory payments. Collaborate with Supply Chain Manager regarding price variances and production run reporting. Wages processing (weekly) Oversee Sales ledger invoicing & credit control Oversee Bank and SIF reconciliations Assisting in the preparation of financial forecasts for both profit and loss and cashflow Involvement in product costing analysis including review of existing costings and margins & maintenance on Siteline Supporting finance team members to ensure compliance with process. Ensure timely and accurate closure of financial ledgers. Submission of Government Statistical Reports. Preparation of grant claims. Carry out internal audits in accordance with schedule. Liaising with and supporting budget holders across all functions. Identify opportunities to reduce costs / increase efficiency. To create a Continuous Improvement culture through participation and development of financial best practice. Collaborates with other team leaders and departments Maximise the value of employee communications and engagement processes. Develop strong relationships with all areas of the wider business and key stakeholders for the good of the site / wider business. Work with managers to implement the companys policies and goals.
