Your Role as a Care Assistant:
Being a Care Assistant means being a companion, a helping hand, and a source of comfort. You'll play a vital role in supporting older people to live with dignity and independence.
Key responsibilities include: Providing
companionship
and emotional support Assisting with
personal care
and hygiene Supporting mobility around the home Helping with
housework
such as cleaning and tidying Preparing and cooking
meals Administering or supporting
medication management
