The NPD Placement role:To work collaboratively with the wider NPD team to assist in ensuring the successful launch and implementation of New Product and Existing Product Development projects for our fresh and added value food products.Main Duties:To assist in scaling up new products, managing customer sample requests and the successful launch of NPD & EPD projects.Responsible for supporting the Development Team in the smooth efficient running of the development kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety and food safety standardsTo work with the NPD and process teams to develop new concepts as directed from the brief or through blue sky developmentsRepeat samples - To work within a tight time scales and to generate development product samplesTo ensure that the relevant recipes are followed, and any changes recorded as appropriateAs a member of the development team, the role includes communicating with others on site, with suppliers and with our customers when requiredTo assist with customer, supplier and internal meetings as requiredTo ensure best practice is adopted when working within the kitchen, ensuring that the working space is kept clean and safeTo liaise with internal and external functions to ensure that raw materials are collated as appropriate to complete projects and briefsSupporting in preparing sample preparations or refreshments as required by the businessAny other responsibilities commensurate with the post.
