Summary:

* Duration: 6 months with potential to be extended or made permanent
* Location: Leighton Buzzard
* Pay Rate: £24.00 per hour
* Hours: Mon-Thurs 7.00 - 16.00 Fri: 7.00 - 12.00
* OVERTIME AVAILABLE
As a Brake Press Operator, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality components. Your responsibilities will include:
* Setting up and operating Amada press brake machinery according to the daily production plan.
* Interpreting technical drawings and specifications with precision.
* Conducting regular quality checks to ensure all components meet rigorous quality standards.
* Maintaining machinery through standard TPM schedules to ensure optimal performance.
* Promoting and adhering to a safe working environment at all times.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency.
* Following all company EH&S and compliance guidelines diligently.
* Upholding housekeeping, 5S, and FOD rules to maintain a best-in-class organised workspace.
What We're Looking For:
* City and Guilds qualifications or relevant experience in press brake machining within a precision engineering environment.
* A strong background in the use of brake press machinery.
* Extensive knowledge of brake press tooling and inspection measuring equipment.
* An eagle eye for detail and confidence in producing components to high-quality standards.
* Proficiency in reading and understanding complex engineering drawings and data.
