HGV Technician
Salary: £60,000
Location: Tipton, West Midlands
Hours: 4 nights No weekends
Job Type: Permanent

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HGV Technician to join our Tipton-based team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician looking to develop their career within a reputable main dealer environment. You will play a key role in maintaining HGVs to the highest standards, ensuring reliability and safety while delivering a high level of service to customers.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform routine servicing, repairs, and maintenance on HGVs to manufacturer standards.
• Carry out diagnostics and fault finding using industry-standard tools and techniques.
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed timeframes and quality standards .
• Follow warranty procedures and maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used.
• Work collaboratively with the parts team to ensure correct replacement parts are fitted.
Requirements
• Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic in a dealership or workshop environment (preferred).
• Level 3 technical qualifications in HGV maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills .
• Full UK Class 1 or 2 HGV Driving Licence (desirable).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
