Job Description
1. Strategy Development: Devise and lead strategies to drive profitability and growth of the online and ecommerce functions.
2. Team Leadership: Manage and lead the online team, ensuring effective collaboration with in-house marketing, customer service, IT, purchasing, and finance teams.
3. Website Management: Develop and maintain B2B and B2C websites, hosted on Magento 2 and WordPress platforms, implementing increased content and changing pricing initiatives.
4. Digital Trading Plan: Manage and extend the company's digital trading plan, including operations on Amazon Seller Central, eBay marketplace, and the Fulfilled by Amazon channel.
5. Digital Marketing: Understand the digital marketing and ecommerce landscapes to identify and implement new online sales opportunities.
6. Project Oversight: Identify opportunities and oversee development projects, sometimes using external agencies, devising comprehensive briefings for effective software build and solutions.
7. Performance Analysis: Analyse and monitor the digital performance of websites to optimise functionality against key metrics, producing updated KPI reports for the senior management team.
8. Budgeting and Forecasting: Handle budgeting and forecasting for online sales, managing costs and reporting ROI to key stakeholders.
9. CRM Strategy: Drive the CRM strategy and devise initiatives to increase repeat order rates and customer retention, alongside managing existing subscription enrolment incentives.
10. Collaborative Planning: Work collaboratively with internal purchasing and marketing teams, and external suppliers, to ensure product data is accurate and optimised for online promotional activities.
