Purpose of the job: To assist in the effective day to day administrative operations of the Finance Department. This role would suit an experienced Accounts Officer with a skill set involving purchase ledger, payroll, cash & banking, and account reconciliation. Main Duties: Purchase Ledger To carry out and maintain the Purchase Ledger operation on Sage 50 Accounts; with mid and end of month payment runs. Assist with the reconciliation of the Aged Creditors Control Account Payroll To carry out and maintain the Payroll operation on Sage 50 Payroll; with an end of month payroll run. Inputting of Payroll / Pension journals to Sage accounts Sales Ledger To assist in the monthly invoicing where required. To assist in the reconciliation of the Aged Debtors Control Account Banking Entering BACS payments / collections on internet Banking Assisting with Bank Reconciliations. Assist with the reconciling of Petty Cash General: Previous experience with Sage 50 Accounts, Sage 50 Payroll and Microsoft Office systems would be ideal.
