Step into a pivotal role within the dynamic European Intermediates & Derivatives Sales Team. This role is home office based and the successful applicant can be based in the UK or in Rotterdam.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Lead the Charge in Sales Strategy: Take ownership of translating LyondellBasell’s Channel-To-Market strategy into a powerful, tailored sales approach for the UK, Ireland, Scandinavia & Benelux.
* Drive New Business and Expand Relationships: Seek out new customer opportunities while also nurturing existing partnerships. Deliver solutions that align with customer needs and LyondellBasell’s global offerings.
* Achieve Outstanding Sales Performance: Own your sales targets. Drive excellence in volume, margin, pricing, and cost-to-serve management. Make an impact by optimizing account share and working capital.
* Forge Strong Relationships with Partners: Ranging from small independent companies to globally recognized industry leaders across diverse industries and applications. Strengthen relationships and uncover untapped opportunities for mutual growth ahead of market trends.
* Leverage Market Intelligence: Use our CRM tools and extensive in-house expertise across the global chemical landscape to enhance your market insights, ensuring that you’re always one step ahead of industry developments.

Qualifications and Experience
* Education: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in scientific, technical or business field.
* Work Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a commercial role (Sales, Marketing, Business Development or Product Management) within the chemical industry.
* Languages: Fluent in English and at least one other European language.
* Developed IT skills (Microsoft Office Word/Excel/PowerPoint, SAP R/3, SalesForce).

Terms & Conditions
Starting salary is negotiable commensurate with experience.
We offer a generous package including an annual bonus opportunity of 10% - 15%, based on company, department and individual performance and we offer market competitive benefits.
