Teacher of Social Sciences Location: York, North Yorkshire Start Date: January 2025 Salary: £125 - £160 per day Contract Type: Full-Time GSL Education are currently looking for Teacher of Social Sciences to work at client Secondary School on a supply basis in York, North Yorkshire starting inJanuary 2025. Teacher of Social Sciences Responsibilities: Deliver engaging lessons in Social Sciences subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, or related fields to KS3, KS4, and KS5 students. Adapt teaching styles and materials to suit the needs of diverse learners. Follow the school's curriculum and policies. Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback on students’ progress. Maintain excellent classroom management and support students with varying abilities and needs. Teacher of Social Sciences Requirements: Right to work in the UK. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Proven experience teaching Social Sciences at the secondary level. Strong classroom management skills. Flexibility, reliability, and adaptability to work in different school settings. Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
