Assess business cases and support the introduction of new processes and technologies to achieve project goals with a strong focus on manufacturability, sustainability, and quality. Work collaboratively with co-located analytical, cell line development and upstream teams. Manage the scale-up and technology transfer of downstream processes to internal and external pilot plant and commercial manufacturing facilities. Analyse data generated in experimental work and present conclusions and recommendations to project teams and stakeholders across R&D and Global Supply Chain. Adhere to and help maintain the highest levels of safety and good lab practice across the department. Why you? Qualifications & Skills: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Graduate qualification in Chemical or Biochemical Engineering, or equivalent. An understanding of safe and effective laboratory working. Ability to innovate and collaborate, working independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Excellent organizational skills - Able to plan, execute, and troubleshoot multiple tasks within the laboratory and office environment. Ability to proactively generate and critically review data as a key to problem solving. Preferred Qualifications & Skills If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus but not required: Previous experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or process development.
