Dunbar Education is working closely with a well-established SEN provision supporting secondary-aged pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges. We are seeking a resilient and compassionate Construction Teacher to deliver engaging lessons that inspire confidence and practical skills. This role focuses on helping students develop practical, hands-on skills in construction that can lead to future employment and vocational opportunities, while also building their confidence and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teach Construction to secondary-aged students, designing lessons that provide a balance of theoretical knowledge and practical skills across various construction disciplines, such as carpentry, masonry, and basic plumbing.
2. Adapt lessons to suit students with diverse learning needs, creating an inclusive classroom environment that caters to varying abilities and promotes success for all.
