Responsibilities: Perform proactive and reactive maintenance tasks Support production teams to ensure quick resolution of breakdowns Troubleshoot and resolve engineering challenges Ensure safe working practices through effective communication Work independently and collaboratively within a team Adaptable to working hours to complete repairs and maintenance tasks Maintain high standards of housekeepingRequired Experience: Completed time-served or modern apprenticeship in an engineering field (or equivalent) Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment would be advantageous Strong knowledge of conveyors, gearboxes, motors, hydraulics and pneumatics Multiskilled in both mechanical and electrical work is highly desirable Familiarity with PLCs, controls, and drives is an advantage Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawingsWhat is on Offer: Competitive salary up to £42K (depending on experience) allowances & shift pay 40-hour basic week shift pay (equivalent to 48 hours paid) 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (Monday to Thursday, 11:20 AM - 9:50 PM) Weekend and shift working with overtime rates paid Christmas off EVERY year Performance-based bonus Career progression opportunities, including potential for a Chargehand roleInterested?
