As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a motivated and skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer to join the team in Dungannon. Position Overview: As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for conducting both planned and reactive maintenance on a range of equipment, with a focus on electrical systems. Your expertise will be crucial in minimizing downtime, optimizing production efficiency, and upholding our stringent quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and automation issues to minimize production disruptions. Conduct preventive maintenance activities according to schedules, including inspections, testing, and component replacements. Respond promptly to breakdowns, prioritize tasks, and implement effective solutions to restore operations efficiently. Collaborate with production staff and management to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancement. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory levels. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. Provide technical support and training to junior technicians and operators as needed. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong focus on electrical maintenance. Food manufacturing experience would be an advantage Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in a fast-paced production environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels. Flexibility to work occasional overtime or weekends as required.
