This national fire and security systems provider is looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor based out of their offices in Birmingham. Reporting to the Quality Director, the successful applicant will play a pivotal role in delivering audits, inspections, and investigations (where needed), as well as contributing to the company's procedures and processes to ensure their continued effectiveness.
Candidates will need the following skills, attributes, and experience:
1. NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (essential).
2. Experienced in a similar role ideally in the fire protection servicing industry or construction industry.
3. Experience of handling H&S investigations.
4. Experience of undertaking H&S Inspections completed on time and in accordance with Company processes.
5. Skilled in providing accurate and timely submission of written reports (essential).
6. Successful, positive & professional communication with clients and colleagues at all levels (essential).
7. Positive and professional promotion of the Company image through behaviours and conduct (essential).
8. Proactive and able to produce solutions to identified problems (essential).
9. Able to use own initiative and works, functions & operates under minimal supervision (essential).
10. This role will require regular travel across the UK to attend H&K sites; therefore, flexibility on travel will be required (essential).
