We're looking for an enthusiastic Digital Analyst Apprentice, with an appetite and ambition for a career within IT, to join our innovative Digital team at our head office in Carlisle. This is an exciting opportunity to learn how digital technologies will ensure a sustainable future for Cumbrian residents.
This role will cover 37.5 hours per week (including 20% off-job learning). As part of this apprenticeship we can offer you a permanent role with Cumbria Health, whilst also towards an accredited qualification in the Digital sector.

Job responsibilities
1. Work towards completing an accredited qualification in the Digital sector.
2. Manage system administrator tasks on key business applications.
3. Assist in the creation and enhancement of Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
4. Contribute to the development of web and software applications.
5. Collaborate with system suppliers to improve and develop core applications.
6. Partner with staff to solve software and IT-related challenges.
7. Be an active participant in an innovative organisation that values new ideas, exploration, and the implementation of creative solutions.
Person Specification
Qualifications
* 5 GCSEs with a minimum grade 4 (or equivalent) including Maths and English.
Experience
* Excellent Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook skills.
* Ability to input and retrieve data accurately on a computerised system.
* Ability to communicate well with a wide range of stakeholders, across multiple communication channels (written and verbal).
* Ability to prioritise and manage own workload.
* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Ability to carry out work accurately to specified deadlines and on own initiative.
* Experience of working within the NHS.
* Experience of working in an office environment.
* Experience of working in IT.
