Job summary Applications are sought from self-motivated individuals with a desire to learn and develop within Microbiology. As an Associate Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the Biomedical Scientists with daily tasks including testing patient samples and maintenance of equipment and will contribute to the smooth delivery of a high quality Microbiology service. Main duties of the job As an Associate Practitioner, your role will be to perform clerical, technical and scientific work relating to the laboratory in a professional and competent manner, whilst being supervised by HCPC registered Biomedical Scientists. You will be required to undertake non-complex interpretive tasks under the indirect supervision of a qualified member of staff.
