The Legal Support Administrator plays a crucial role in providing administrative and file management support to the team. Responsibilities include establishing and maintaining service-based relationships, ensuring client-specific protocols are followed, and supporting various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Practice Assistants to support client and marketing activities, including scheduling meetings and maintaining business development information.
- Manage file organisation, ensuring documents are correctly named and filed both electronically and on paper.
- Handle file opening and closing procedures, ensuring compliance with firm policies.
- Assist in organising internal and external events, including booking travel and arranging materials.
- Order promotional goods and manage stock levels.
- Coordinate room and taxi bookings, hand deliveries, and courier requests.
- Perform printing, copying, and scanning tasks, liaising with document solutions for high-volume jobs.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with billing, expenses, and client data management.
- Produce court bundles and ensure compliance with court rules.
- Attend team meetings and provide regular updates on progress.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Relevant office-based administration experience.
- Proficiency in document management and case management systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with internal and external clients.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a conscientious approach to work.
