Health and Safety Advisor

This is an exciting opportunity to join their close-knit team as we expand, working from their office in Harlow, and visiting sites across London and the Home Counties (very occasionally UK-wide).
The business is seeking a motivated and experienced Health and Safety Advisor to lead and enhance health and safety standards across the business. This critical role involves overseeing compliance with all relevant regulations, fostering a strong safety culture, and delivering impactful training to our growing team.
The role will primarily be office-based, with site visits required. Develop, implement, and manage health and safety policies, procedures, and programmes in line with legal and industry standards.
Conduct risk assessments and audits across sites to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Deliver engaging and effective health and safety training for staff at all levels.
Provide expert advice on health and safety matters to employees and management.
Monitor and report on health and safety performance, preparing actionable insights for senior leadership.
Stay up to date with legislative and regulatory changes to maintain compliance.
Professional certification such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (essential).
Proven experience in health and safety management within construction or civil engineering.
Familiarity with health and safety management systems and reporting tools.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year (depending on experience).
