The Digital, Data and Technology (DDaT) directorate develops and operates tools and services to support us in this mission. The team have been nominated three times in a row for Best Public Sector Employer at the Women in Tech awards!, We are looking for somebody who can be a key part of our Microsoft team. We are utilising Microsoft Office products, specifically Microsoft Dynamics, to deliver solutions in rapid and agile ways that will reduce burdens on staff, maximise the use of our data and support decision making.
About you
You will be a crucial part of the team. Not only will you develop your own solutions, but you will help others in the team to develop. You will be expected to be innovative but ensure compliance with the appropriate requirements for data protection and information security.You will work with our Technology Service Solutions team to implement changes and support staff across the department. As part of this role, youll actively promote the use of M365 applications, helping the department make the most of the M365 applications that are available.
Main responsibilities
You will be:
+ Develop and configure new and existing services using Power Platform, Plug Ins, and Dynamics 365. working with business and project teams to ensure solutions meet their needs
+ Collaborate with designers and analysts to create and test prototypes with users
+ Turn prototypes into detailed technical designs and use these to build digital services.
+ Ensure technical performance, security, and scalability., using toolkits and APIs
+ Participate in testing and validation of solution designs, using automation where possible
+ Align designs with strategic and architectural principles, working closely with oour enterprise architecture and data teams
+ Maintain technical service roadmaps and monitor new Microsoft platform releases.
+ Provide 3rd line support for live digital services.
+ Conduct root cause analysis and identify solutions.
+ Assess impact of new Microsoft releases., Offers will be made in merit order based on location preferences. If you pass the bar at interview but are not the highest scoring you will be held on a 12-month reserve list in case a role becomes available.
