Position: Satellite Warehouse/Logistics Operator
Type: Full Time (40 hours, Permanent)
Salary: Up To £32,208 Depending On Experience
Location: Between Howdon and Cramlington
About The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity to join our Logistics team as a Satellite Warehouse/Logistics Operator to take full responsibility for the daily operation of a satellite Warehouse. Working independently, you will manage the day-to-day operation and will be responsible for:
1. Receiving and checking supplier deliveries.
2. Entering receipts into the company inventory system.
3. Providing internal customers with materials.
4. Liaising with suppliers and customers on delivery issues.
5. Transferring stock between sites.
6. Maintaining good housekeeping standards.
7. Covering holidays for other Satellite stores as required.
A company van will be provided.
About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
1. Previous experience of driving a forklift Counterbalance.
2. The physical ability to offload, check, and store deliveries according to safety requirements.
3. Comfortable working alone and performing risk assessments/60-second checks before tasks.
4. Strong customer service skills, able to interact with internal customers courteously and professionally.
5. Strong numeracy and literacy skills with a keen eye for detail and high data entry accuracy.
6. A full UK Manual Driving Licence.
