Job Title: Planned Works Surveyor

Reports to: Principal Surveyor
Salary: Circa £41k
Role Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to manage a portfolio of properties, overseeing a planned maintenance programme and delivering high-quality surveying and contract management services across the Wiltshire region. This role will involve working on planned maintenance, minor works, refurbishment projects, repairs, and health & safety tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the surveying and contract administration for planned maintenance and major works.
Conduct surveys on repairs, void properties, and communal areas, ensuring works are completed to standard.
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors and neighbourhood officers.
Administer contracts, manage budgets, and ensure expenditure is within limits.
Monitor health and safety standards, ensuring the wellbeing of customers and contractors.
Essential Requirements:
Relevant qualification in Construction or Surveying.
Experience in surveying and contract management, preferably within the social housing sector.
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and building maintenance standards.
Budget management experience (c. £500k).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel within the local area
