This is a rare opportunity to take over an established, settled, fully staffed, and Outstanding-rated solo children's home in Leicester. Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled leader to continue providing exceptional care and stability for a young person with complex needs.

Your Role
As Registered Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and building on the home's Outstanding Ofsted rating while ensuring the best outcomes for the young person in your care.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leading with Excellence - Oversee all operational aspects of the home, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and Quality Standards.
2. Providing Outstanding Care - Continue to deliver high-quality, therapeutic care tailored to the young person's individual needs.
3. Team Leadership & Development - Inspire, mentor, and support your fully staffed team to maintain a positive and nurturing home culture.
4. Safeguarding & Protection - Act as the designated safeguarding lead, ensuring the young person's safety, well-being, and rights.
5. Collaborating for Success - Work closely with families, external agencies, and multi-disciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.
6. Managing Resources Effectively - Oversee budgets, staffing, and operational efficiency, ensuring the home runs smoothly and sustainably.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a strong, inspiring leader who is committed to maintaining high standards of care while ensuring a structured and nurturing environment.
Essential Requirements:
1. Qualifications - Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
2. Experience - At least five years in residential childcare, including leadership or management roles.
3. Strong Knowledge - A thorough understanding of Ofsted regulations, compliance standards, and relevant legislation.
4. Proven Success - A track record of delivering high-quality care and achieving positive outcomes for young people.
5. Leadership & People Management - The ability to motivate, organise, and develop a team to provide outstanding care.
6. Resilience & Problem-Solving Skills - Confidence in handling challenges, making informed decisions, and remaining calm under pressure.
