We will provide you with a platform to learn and grow as part of an innovative Global Learning & Development team. You will have a clearly defined role which allows you to make a personal contribution to the delivery of Global Learning & Development initiatives originating from agreed Learning & Development priorities and strategy. We offer an internship program which focuses on your continual development beyond your time with us at Siemens. You will participate in a series of 10 workshops crafted to enhance your skills, providing you with the key tools required to succeed in your future career. These workshops will be delivered by our internal training team and feature a range of subject areas, from communication and presentation skills to personal efficiency and career planning. In addition, you will be invited to 12 lunch and learn introductions to a variety of business units e.g. Finance, Marketing, HR; learning about what it is like to work in these teams, and the career journey of the presenter. Our aim is to provide a well-rounded learning experience which offers value to you as an individual as well as the organisation. What we're looking for We are looking for a creative individual who is a good visual communicator, currently in their second year of university and is about to embark on their industrial placement/sandwich year. You are studying for a degree, or equivalent experience, in the area of: Marketing, Film and Digital Production, Media Studies, Advertising or a Business-related field. For this role we are seeking someone who is used to using digital production software or graphic packages. Our ideal candidate is curious about creative media and has a desire to learn as well as people centric approach to everything you do. You will be able to work independently, under minimal direction and collaboratively as part of a team. You will work to set timescales, with the ability to multi-task as well as focus on one task in particular in order to meet a requirement. This will be a 13-month internship, starting in July 2025. What you'll be doing - Working with a senior team member, you will hold the responsibility of carrying out a specific role within our business processes e.g. courseware development, training co-ordination, reporting and analytics, proficiency assessment and management, content curation and marketing or project co-ordination. - Coordinate and prioritise workload to complete specific tasks to required time - frame and quality standards using defined work practices. - Use own initiative to overcome issues and challenges to complete tasks. - Liaise with other L&D team members, and stakeholders in other areas of the business to produce task output. - Present at regular L&D Team Meetings face to face and virtually. - Support major conferences or learning events, where relevant (this may require international travel). - Produce L&D reports and updates on work to required cadence for use by L&D and stakeholder groups. - Produce relevant materials and onboard the incoming intern to take over the role successfully. - Independent work using your own initiative, with minimal direction and collaborate as part of a team What you'll bring - Enjoy creative problem-solving. - Strong communicator and a self-starter. - Clear visual problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Desire to collaborate in a friendly team environment. - Interest in technology, AI, media, audio, photography.
